Skatersight

Skatersight is a conceptual app that helps users locate places to skate, whether it be an actual skate park, regular parks, street spots, and more. The app features a scrolling feed of park recommendations, a park locating feature, and even a messaging page. It was conceptualized during the summer of the COVID-19 Pandemic when people were able to be outside while social distancing, and is meant to fulfill the need for connection for those who are interested in skating.

LOGO
The logo uses Righteous Regular as the base font, with each end of the letter S being altered with a sharp round curve. Incorporating 2 small circles within the negative space of the logo helped give it a feeling of connecting from one point to another, which is in line with the app's main function: to get from wherever you're located to another where you can skate. The color scheme for the app's branding is meant to be energetic and cool yet open and inviting to experienced and especially new skaters using the app.
